Safety is paramount at On Hook Fishing. All guides hold current First Aid and CPR certifications, and carry essential safety equipment including comprehensive first aid kits and Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs) should they ever be required.
For boat-based adventures, our guides are fully coxswain certified, and every vessel is equipped and maintained to the highest safety standards. Your wellbeing on the water is never left to chance.

Fish on offer: Barramundi, Golden Trevally, Longtail Tuna, Mackeral, Queenfish, Mangrove Jack(best to keep for dinner) Threadfin Salmon, King Salmon (Threadfin), Cobia, fingermark, Giant Herring, Northern Bluefin Tuna, Bluebone (Tuskfish), and for those that put in the time maybe even a Permit. Weipa fishery offers over 30 fish species all achievable on fly
